Talent for Governance Scholarship selection process enters decisive stage

Talent for Governance, the hugely popular scholarship programme of The Hague Academy for Local Governance, has concluded the first stage of its 2010 application process.In the upcoming weeks, the written applications of all qualifying applicants will once again be examined, after which telephone interviews will be conducted with the most promising candidates.

Talent for Governance has made an appeal to all young civil servants in the Netherlands to support their talented colleagues in developing countries by participating in the City-Pier-City run at 14 March 2010 and/or the NK Veldloop gemeenten op 31 maart.

World Youth Meeting for a Sustainable Future

First Talent for Governance scholarship programme successfully completed

From 20 September until 2 October the Talent for Governance ran its first scholarship programme . Emilia Gjeroska, Thulani Twala and Sylvia Solis Lopez attended the training course ‘How to use the power of your citizens’ the first week. Among others, they followed lectures by international experts, shared experiences from their own municipalities, visited several citizen participation projects in Dutch Municipalities like the Fathers’ centre in the Hague.
