Make a financial contribution
Do you want to invest in young talents working for local governance in developing and transitional countries? To give them a chance to develop their knowledge and skills and learn from experiences in other parts of the world? Then a donation to Talent for Governance is a good investment! With your contribution, you not only give young civil servants a chance to achieve their ambitions, but you also strengthen good governance at a local level, thereby improving the living conditions for many people in the target countries.
Talent for Governance uses your donation to offer talents the opportunity to participate in an International Exchange Activity in The Netherlands, including an internship in a Dutch municipality. Only the most talented and motivated civil servants, who show a strong commitment for good governance on the local level, will be selected. During the Exchange Programme, the young talent has to explain how he/she plans to share the gained knowledge with the colleagues back home, so that many more talents will profit from this unique experience.
Are you convinced that your donation serves a good cause? Then make your donation to: bank account 55.87.47.477, IBAN NL62ABNA0558747477, SWIFT/BIC nr. ABNANL2A in the name of Talent for Governance, The Hague. Or easily donate by clicking the Donate button on this page.
Run for Talent for Governance
Support Talent for Governance and your own health by joining in one of our charity runs! On 13 March 2011, you can participate in the famous The Hague city-pier-city run for a distance of 5, 10 or 20 (half marathon) kilometers.
Approach sponsors to support you in your effort and raise money to allow us giving scholarships to young, talented local civil servants from developing countries and non-EU Eastern European states. With the scholarships, civil servants will be able to follow a high-profile local governance training course in The Netherlands, followed by a short internship at a Dutch municipality.
Dutch civil servants are invited to run for charity in the Veldloop gemeente ambtenaren in Lelystad 2011. Also at this occasion, participants can support Talent for Governance by making a donation themselves or seeking sponsors.
If you raise more than € 34.99, you will also get a unique Talent for Governance running shirt to show your support to the fund.
Join the network
The online Talent for Governance-network offers civil servants from developing and transition countries the possibility to meet colleagues from other parts of the world, so that they can share knowledge and experiences and ask advice about problems and challenges.
Dutch civil servants are very welcome to join the network -on which they can help others with the experience and knowledge they have - and to meet the participants in real life when they are in the Netherlands. They can also contribute by organising an excursion, dinner or sleeping accommodation.
